Meet Bandit – Our handsome 6.5 year old Hound mix. Bandit was surrendered to us by his owners due to behavior issues, in August 2018. They adopted Bandit from a local “no kill” rescue when he was a puppy, but sadly he ended up with us because they wouldn’t take him back.
Bandit is on the search for a new home with patient, loving, savvy, experienced owners. Bandit likes other dogs, and as per his previous owners, he is house trained and knows the commands “paw” and “down”, and since being with us, and working weekly with his shelter buddies and he is excellent in training classes! Bandits ideal home is an adult only household that has experience with guarding or possessive behavior.
Bandit is also looking for a quiet, low traffic household due to him being nervous of strangers. Training, or hiring a trainer is highly recommended to work on his stranger reactivity and guarding behavior.
