Athena Kara came to SNAP of MI as a stray. SNAP decided to complete a DNA test as we weren’t sure if she was a German Shepherd or a Belgian Malinois mix. Her results? 92.9% German Shepherd Dog and 7.1% untraceable! Athena Kara is appoximately 12 months old and is receiving beginning obedience lessons. She is housebroken (rings a bell to go outside), crate-trained, knows the commands of sit, down, and has just begun search (nose-work). She is also spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on all vaccines.
Athena Kara needs to work. She LOVES to be outside watching her surroundings. She enjoys other large dogs and teenage children. Ball retrieval is her favourite pastime.
She is NOT good with cats, small/medium dogs, or small furries. She enjoys children, but older children are best as she can bowl over small children.
The adoption fee for Athena Kara is $250. The adoption includes an approved application, home visit, 2 months of heartowrm prevention, a month of flea prevention, front-clip harness, martingale collar, 6 foot lead, and microchip.
