Meet Sweet Asta! She is a Cane Corso (mix?) who arrived as a stray on 12/30/2024 and is thought to be just 1 year old. She is listed as 76-100 lbs and not yet spayed. She has a beautiful brindle coat with a little white patch on her chest and sweet brown eyes. She is not yet on the Dog Walking program because she is still pretty shy and scared. The shelter environment is a bit overwhelming for her.
We are hanging out with her and showing her that some of us humans aren’t all that bad! She and her primary care giver have created quite a bond and she is being very brave! She appears to be housebroken and is very sweet! She has not shown any dog reactivity at this time. She is going to need some time to decompress, relax and gain confidence and a loving HOME will be the best place for that to happen!
