ASH is a 6 year old, neutered, German Shepard Mix 60 lbs. He was found as a stray in 2022, nearly hairless due to a flea allergy. Now that all my hair is grown back, my foster mom thinks I’m a pretty handsome boy.
I am complete potty-trained and crate trained. Very good with bathtime and nail trims. I’m food motivated, which means I’m trainable! Not a picky eater I like to nap a lot, but I also enjoy walks in quiet neighborhoods.
I have some anxiety, so I bark a lot when I see a dog or person that I don’t know. But when the stranger comes up to me, I’m very sweet and just wanted to be petted. With dogs, I’m “Dog Selective” which means some dogs I like, and some I don’t. I figured it’s ok because humans are like that too! If you are patient with me, I can get along with any dog. My foster sister is a reactive pit bull mix. My foster mom slowly introduced us over several days. Now we are 2 peas in a pod! Please give me a chance!
