Archie is a 40lb Cattle Dog mix. He was found wandering in Perris, CA starving and almost completely blind. He can’t see at all out of one eye and he sees shadows and shapes out of the other. We aren’t sure how he lost his eyesight but he has no problems getting around.
Despite his eyesight being impaired, he is a happy healthy dog that LOVES to play with his toys and romp around the yard. He gets along with female dogs and is selective with male dogs. He’s been living with 4 cats and has learned to leave them alone. He walks good on a leash. Archie can sometimes bump into things, including other dogs if he doesn’t see them. We’ve left Archie free to roam the house several times while gone and he was such a good boy!! He sleeps in a crate at night.
