Looking for a truly unique pup? Get a load of Archie, an approx. 1 year old mix of Husky and Black Mouth Cur, and weighing in at a healthy 69 pounds! With one blue eye and one brown, he also sports a beautiful, highly unusual taupe colored coat.
Archie is a happy, playful boy who excels at couch-cuddling and offering up his tummy for rubs. On hot days, one of his favorite things to do is flop down with his belly up against a cool floor and his legs splayed out behind him like a massive frog.
Archie loves to go on walks, and is friendly with other dogs and people. He has impeccable manners when taking treats–very gentle and careful of fingers, and though his exposure to children while in our care has been minimal, he has been exceptionally patient and sweet with the little ones he’s met.
Archie is a very intelligent dog, and has already learned to sit and stay. This is one dog who really seems to appreciate that he’s been rescued, and tries very hard to fit into whatever his people have planned for the day.
