Meet Apollo, a stunning 5-year-old, 24-pound Shiba Inu/Retriever mix with a sweet soul and a heart ready to love again. After his family went through a divorce, Apollo suddenly had nowhere to go—and found himself starting over. Thankfully, he’s now safe in a foster home, where he’s making the most of every walk, cuddle, and car ride.
Apollo thrives on adventure and companionship. He enjoys long trail walks with his foster mom, loves cruising in the car, and has formed a close bond with the German Shepherd in his foster home. He’s already house-trained and knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “look”—a smart boy who’s eager to please. Apollo would do best in a home without cats due to his prey drive but has proven to be a loyal and gentle companion once he warms up. He’s shy at first but affectionate, calm, and ready to blossom in a secure, loving home.
