Blaine has been waiting for his family for 307 days!! That’s 307 days waking up in the shelter without a family to call his own 😭.
When Blaine first came to us he was very confused and defeated. You could tell he had no idea why he was with us and why no one would want him. It’s very scary for dogs to lose everything they have ever known. Volunteers quickly began working with Blaine showing him he was in a safe environment and very loved here. He slowly started coming out of his shell! Throw a frisbee or a ball for this guy and you’ll be best friends. He is in heaven playing fetch!This is a story of a broken soul let down by humans, but he was willing to trust and see not everyone will let him down.
BLAINE is a big handsome Lab/Pit Bull mix with soulful eyes. He is 2 years old and he weighs 60 lbs. Blaine is an affectionate guy. He knows “sit” and he loves treats! He enjoys climbing on the wooden play equipment in our yard and exploring. Blaine is working on his leash manners but once he gets started on his walk he realizes how fun it can be, he is a strong guy tho! He needs someone patient that will keep working with him. Blaine needs to meet any potential dog siblings.
