For over one year now, Maddie has witnessed other dogs’ happy endings over and over again. But each time she hopes her turn will finally arrive, she ends up disappointed because no visitor bothers to pay attention to her once they reach her kennel.
2-year-old Maddie isn’t a good girl — she is the best girl. Yet, she’s spent so much time waiting for someone to choose her. Honestly, it’s unfair that as perfect as she is, Maddie now questions whether she’s indeed good enough and worthy of love.
A Tough Wait

She still dishes out affection freely to anyone who interacts with her and treats every stranger like a long-lost friend.
