Woman Breaks Down in Tears Reuniting With Her Soul Dog After a Journey Across Continents
They say the greatest love stories start in the most unexpected ways, and no one relates to this statement more than Karin, a dog owner who found her soul pup in the most unusual place: an Airbnb. When Karin moved to Bali several months ago, she did not expect to bond deeply with a dog belonging to the person she was sharing her Airbnb with.
The dog — named Bella — didn’t have an easy start to life. At only two months old, her busy owner would leave her all alone in the Airbnb, making her feel unloved and unappreciated. It was during this time that Karin noticed how lonely Bella would get, and she took it upon herself to add color to her dull life.
Spark of a Deep Friendship
With Karin now in her life, Bella began to experience life beyond the Airbnb walls. As documented on Karin’s TikTok account @karinporavne, the two would often go for walks together, even embarking on fun adventures that were foreign to Bella — like motorbike rides and visiting the beach.
It didn’t take long before Bella and Karin became fond of each other; their friendship deepened with every moment they spent together. Unfortunately, time came for Karin to leave Bali for Slovenia. She didn’t realize how much she cared for Bella until it was time to say goodbye.
Enough Is Enough
Being away from Bella was hard for Karin, as she’d constantly worry about her wellbeing. Her worries grew when Bella’s owner reached out, stating that they could no longer continue caring for Bella. They handed her over to their neighbor, who would, unfortunately, leave the poor pup tied in the backyard in the scorching sun.
This heartbreaking news prompted Karin to travel back to Bali and save Bella from the mistreatment. At this point, Karin had already made up her mind to bring Bella to Slovenia for good. Sadly, she had to leave Bali once again without Bella due to unavoidable circumstances.

An Unforgettable Reunion
After a series of obstacles, Karin eventually managed to fly out Bella from Bali to Slovenia. While at the airport, she was overwhelmed with emotions upon spotting Bella, and it was obvious this moment felt so surreal.
Sweet Bella, too, was thrilled to see her favorite human. Her tail wagged furiously with pure happiness as she showered Karin with slobbering face licks. Bella is now living her best life in a loving forever home, a perfect ending to her lonely beginning. Their emotional reunion is indeed a powerful reminder of how deep the bond between humans and dogs can run.
