Still basically a puppy who should be playing with toys and other dogs, Mikey already knows a lot more than many dogs his age. A respectful dog that socializes well with humans and other dogs alike, Mikey has been a quick learner in his foster home and shows enormous potential to be a pretty perfect dog.

Handsome Mikey has so much to offer his future forever family. Gentle but playful, Mikey has a social nature and loves playing as much as he loves a good cuddle. Mikey is good with other dogs and loves to run, chase, and play with them. He has good boundaries and can easily socialize with dogs of all ages. He shows no signs of resource guarding, and is enthusiastic about sharing toys with other dogs and people!
Mikey can also participate in the more practical parts of life without putting up a fuss. Mikey’s foster family says he enjoys baths (even the dryer) and happily goes for car rides. He is crate-trained, picks up commands quickly, and is eager to please.
One thing Mikey needs to work on is walking on the leash. Mikey can be a little leash-reactive, particularly in new or stressful situations, and he will need a forever family that can help him continue his training. Because Mikey is a big dog who can be a little reactive, he is not cat-friendly.
