A Beautifully Chaotic Reunion
As revealed in the video — posted by Cactus and Miso’s owner @cactustherescue — the two fur besties had been away from each other for two weeks. Miso had travelled to visit his grandparents, leaving Cactus behind. Miso’s absence weighed heavily on Cactus for those two weeks; his world felt incomplete without his cherished feline buddy by his side. All this became clear when Miso returned home from his short stay.
In the video, Cactus is seen exploding in excitement as soon as Miso enters the house. And Miso, in true feline fashion, plays it cool as he walks hurriedly past Cactus, then runs into another room. Cactus immediately follows Miso as his tail wags vigorously into a blur, ready to reignite the spark that had been put on hold for two long weeks. He even vocalizes his happiness in joyful barks as he climbs the bed before checking underneath it to see if Miso has gone into hiding.
While the video doesn’t quite capture Miso’s entire reaction to seeing Cactus, we have no doubts that deep down, he was just as relieved to reunite with his canine buddy.
