Laurel’s foster dog recently gave birth to eight puppies, and she’s made it her daily mission to offer her postpartum care to make her feel loved and supported.
In a heartwarming video, Laurel captures what her mama dog’s postpartum care routine entails. It’s a lot. She hand-feeds her mama dog whenever she’s too busy breastfeeding to eat, ensures she has her own comfortable, quiet area where she can bond and relax with her newborns, and makes sure that her other dogs or visitors don’t go near mama dog for the sake of her peace of mind.
