1. Ella: 1-year-old Sheepadoodle

Hi my name is Ella Enchanted. I found my way to foster care through no fault of my own. My family that had lived with forever decided I was too big for them but my foster Mom and Dad say since I am so mellow I am the perfect size. I am a 70 lb. sheep-a-doodle. I am told I am pretty much perfect. I am potty and doggy door trained. I get along with everyone including the family cat.
My favorite thing to do is play and it doesnāt matter to me large or small cat or dog . I just love to play. I love the snow and can be found outside laying in it often. I am great on a leash and I take treats very nicely. I love to go on car rides and will lay in the back so quietly that you will forget I am even there (but please remember not to leave me in the hot car when itās hot outside). I sleep quietly at night on a doggy bed next to my family but I do like to be up and at it by 8:00 am, if not a little earlier. My foster Mom is not sure how I am in a crate. Because I am such a good girl she just lets me free roam in the house and I am not destructive and can be trusted doing that. I do know basic commands and do mind very well. Learn More
2. Sterling: Sweet Senior Girl

Sterling came to the shelter after losing her person and her foster home where she was kept outside. Now sheās ready to find and live in the house with her forever person(s). This sweet girl has beautiful markings and the thickest black and silver fur youāll find. She may be a āseniorā lady, but donāt let her hear you call her āold!ā And she may be on the āsturdyā side, but donāt let her hear you call her the f-word (fat)!
I can guarantee that if youāre a senior yourself, she can jog right past you. And with the training plan implemented by staff and volunteers, Sterling has already lost 10 pounds since arriving at the shelter. Sheās looking for a good running buddy to help her lose some (a lot) more. Sheās a smart cookie (and likes them), knows to sit, seems to be house-trained, and loves to play fetch (also on her training plan). Learn More
