If you like German Shepherds then you need to check out Thor!!!!  He is a purebred Shepherd, 9 years old and weighs 113 pounds. We don’t know the details yet, but we think Thor’s owner may have passed away or gone to a nursing home.  They definitely loved Thor because they made sure he would be able to find another home.

Thor is great with kids and he does play with the neighbors dog but he can get protective of his property.  Of course, he is a Shepherd!!!  We will have to get him away from the house to test him with other dogs.  Thor would love a home to just live out his final years of life. Learn More

When you meet Henry, you will love him. All the charm of the breed is rolled up into a 105-pound package of Pyr-boy fun! This handsome 4-year-old is always interested in playing, so a home with other dogs would suit him really well. He gets along with and has lived with both male and female dogs. Henry has double dew claws and came to rescue from a Kentucky breeder in the Fall of 2020 when he was a big, clumsy pup. He was adopted years ago, but his parents have split up, so Henry needs a new foster or furever home.

He can be quite puppyish, and wants to meet everyone and do everything, so be prepared for adventure with this fun pup. He is easy to please though, as a stick is still his favorite toy. He’s completed beginner and intermediate training classes and enjoys three walks daily. Sammy will quickly bond with his new owner and would thrive in a home with a yard.

She has a beautiful, long, soft coat which she will patiently let you brush.
