4. Levi: 4-year-old Goldendoodle
Likeable Levi – this happy guy is always smiling, happy to greet you when you enter the door and will lavish you with kisses. Levi is a 4-year-old Goldendoodle boy, he is 52 lbs, neutered, UTD on all vaccinations, HW negative, and microchipped. Levi loves to gallop in his foster mom’s backyard and he enjoys playing fetch. Oh, this boy is super smart and housetrained, he is great in the house.
Levi is an excellent car rider – it’s natural for him to just jump in the back seat and be ready for the next adventure. He loves to look out the back window or just lie down. Levi is your Velcro dog – such a faithful friend. He attaches himself easily to his human and wants you all to himself. Levi could easily be a lapdog, as he enjoys watching the evening news with his foster mom, and will lay at your feet while his foster mom works at her computer – without moving an inch. He loves to talk to you – as his bark is almost like a soprano singing and it means he is very happy to have you around. Learn More
5. Isla: 1-year-old Havapoo
Isla is a one-year-old bundle of curly cuteness who weighs just 8 pounds. With her prancing steps and curious eyes, she’s guaranteed to steal your heart. Her foster family can’t stop gushing about how ridiculously adorable she is—and they’re not wrong!
At first, Isla can be a bit shy and skittish, especially around new people or loud noises. Men can make her nervous, but with patience, love, and maybe some tasty treats, she starts to warm up. Even sudden movements, like turning lights on or off, can spook her, so she’s looking for a calm and understanding family to help her feel safe. Learn More
6. Scotch: 2-year-old Friendly Mixed Breed
Scotch is an adorable little mixed breed who was found running the streets along with his friend, Polar. We are unsure of his exact breed but feel pretty sure he is some sort of “doodle.” He is a young guy, maybe 2 years old, and about 15 lbs. He is great with everyone- adults, kids, cats, and dogs. He’s a friendly, outgoing guy who just needs a home of his own. Scotch is not house-trained. He has a habit of marking in the house. We feel like this will be easier to correct when he is in a home of his own, where he can get more one-on-one training and direction.
He is currently in a foster home with a lot of other dogs, so some of the marking is probably due to competing with the other dogs. He is young and was just neutered this week, so we are confident he will learn. Other than his marking behavior, he’s an excellent little boy who just needs a good home! He is fully vetted, and sadly he tested positive for heartworm. He is getting doxycycline for 30 days as a pre-treatment and then will be treated for heartworms after that. He is in the early stages and is expected to fully recover. Learn More
