Dog-Friendly Restaurants in Denver
As the capital of Colorado, Denver has it all: beautiful views, countless attractions, and of course, restaurants! Because of this, it’s only natural that countless Americans pay the city a visit during their vacations, making it a bustling hub of activity that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Of course, if you’re making the trip to Denver, you’ll probably want to share the experience with your pup!
Though it’ll require a bit more planning, you’re in luck! Denver is an extremely dog-friendly city, so as long as you do your research beforehand, you’ll have no problem navigating the city with your best friend! Though enjoying the local restaurant life with your pup may sound like more of an issue, Denver is full of dog-friendly dining experiences.
To help you out, I’ve put together some of my favorite dog-friendly restaurants in Denver!
1. Recess Beer Garden

First up is a laid-back environment where visitors can kick back and enjoy watching a game while snacking on wings, cheese boards, and sandwiches with a refreshing beer or cocktail. During weekdays or on weekends before 3:00 PM, I strongly recommend you and your pup pay this social hub a visit!
Dogs can pass the time on a sunny patio during the summer, or enjoy the heaters during the winter. Either way, you and your dog alike can visit the Recess Beer Garden for good food, good drink, and good conversation.
2. Lowry Beer Garden

Tucked into a quiet, relaxing garden, Lowry Beer Garden puts the best of Colorado’s rich craft beer community on display. Best of all, you can bring your pup with you to enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery while you enjoy your meal.
As for the meal itself, you’ve got delicious options for a casual, relaxing dining experience such as gourmet sausages, burgers, fries, pretzels, and of course, locally brewed craft beer. All in all, you and your pup shouldn’t miss Lowry Beer Garden during your visit to Denver!
3. Postino – LoHi

Even before factoring in the dining, Postino is well-worth visiting purely for its unique environment. Housed in the former building of a bookbinding company, it carries a relaxed, vintage air that you just can’t find in your typical cafe.
With menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a wide selection of quality wine and beer, you can enjoy Postino at any hour of the day. If you’re in the area, I can’t recommend enough that you and your dog pay it a visit!
4. Colorado Campfire

With a from-scratch menu and high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, Colorado Campfire is a pub that’s inclusive fun for the whole family, including Fido! Between its wonderful atmosphere and delicious menu, Colorado Campfire is the perfect place to experience Denver.
Colorado Campfire’s menu features brunch and dinner options, as well as 70 draft beers, cocktails from Colorado-made spirits, and more! You’ll be hard-pressed to find something you don’t enjoy at Colorado Campfire.
5. Homegrown Tap & Dough

Uniting traditional Italian cuisine with the unique culture of Colorado, Homegrown Tap & Dough is the perfect place to get your pizza fix. With a wide selection of wood-fired pizzas, pasta dishes, and craft beer, this is by far some of the best casual Italian dining you’ll find in Denver.
With dog-friendly patio tables to boot, you can experience quality food alongside your pup, taking in the food, culture, and environment Colorado has to offer.

Open from 4:00 AM-2:00 PM, the high-quality food and drink options are the cherry on top. Simply put, Forest Room 5 shouldn’t be overlooked.
