A zephyr is a word of Greek origin meaning a gentle breeze, so it’s not surprising that this Zephyr is a social butterfly, flitting from person to person to say hello and get pets. She’s also a very determined 2-year old which has served her well since she arrived at the shelter with two broken legs after being hit by a car.

Now her legs have healed and she’s ready to move forward with her life and a family. According to her foster, Zephyr is working on house training, she can be left alone and she doesn’t get on furniture or bark much. She is crate trained and is learning basic commands.

Zephyr has lived with both big and small dogs and has a spirited personality, so a meet and greet with resident pups is strongly encouraged. Given the typical Texas weather headed our way, wouldn’t you like to come out to meet this sweet, gentle breeze of a girl?!
