Saint was found as a stray on December 15, 2025, quietly navigating the world on his own. Somehow, that experience did not harden him. Instead, this three-year-old pit bull mix shows up as calm, social, and remarkably easy to be around, the kind of dog who seems grateful for every bit of kindness that comes his way.
Shelter dog walkers love taking Saint out, and for good reason. He is well behaved, relaxed on leash, and checks in often, looking to his person for direction. Training would be a breeze with this guy. He already knows how to sit, pays close attention, and clearly enjoys working with people. Smart without being pushy is a rare and wonderful combo.
Saint is also listed as housebroken, preferring to take care of business outside rather than in his kennel. On walks, he does not pull much, but he is a dedicated sniffer, making sure no scent goes uninvestigated on the trail. It is one of his quiet joys.
What really sets Saint apart is his temperament. He loves being petted, leans into attention, and happily accepts affection in any form you are offering. He has the vibe of a perfect couch potato companion, equally content with a leisurely walk or settling in beside you for some downtime.
Saint is a three-year-old pit bull mix, listed in the 35 to 75 pound range, and he is exactly the kind of dog that fits easily into everyday life. Calm, attentive, gentle, and social, he feels like a dog who has been waiting patiently for his person to find him.
Saint is currently at Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, California.
