Velma and her five siblings were left on the side of the road in Mexico as small puppies. My rescue took them when they were about three months old. They needed a lot of vet care due to the extreme neglectâŚ.Velma is healthy now.
Velma is a beautiful girl. She is extremely loving, playful, curious, fun, âŚâŚâŚ. But also fearful. Her fearfulness is exhibited by barking, hiding or protesting by laying down and not moving. She is going to need a special family that will give her time to trust and adjust. Velma is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, ready to go to her new family. She is crate trained and walks on a leash with some pulling. Velma went to a trainer and with him she was able to go to outings and even stores without showing any fear. We would be happy to do any follow ups with the trainer and her new adopters. Velma really needs her very own home. She is approx. 10 months old.
