Bruno Must Exit by 4PM on 11/7
This should NOT be happening. This gentle giant at WLA Shelter is scheduled to be euthanized Thursday @ 4pm. He was brought in with six others in a horrible neglect/abuse case. Found in an abandoned car 106 degrees. His front legs are deformed from being in a small crate. And still; he is as sweet as can be and so lovable. Because he is red tagged for euthanizing, he is in a back cage and rarely taken out. But when he is, all he wants is love and attention. He is a gem and deserves to live….
🆘 VICTIM OF NEGLECT CASE NEEDS ADOPTION OR RESCUE BY 4PM ON 11/7‼️
BRUNO – #A2158071
6 yr. old, 119 lb. Male Rottweiler Mix
Darling Bruno is a big sweet, goofy boy who has every right to hate humans after being severely neglected. But Instead, he’s one of the most affectionate, playful & trusting pups you’ll ever meet.
Despite his amazing resilience and temperament, his life is now at risk if he’s not adopted or rescued by 11/7. 😭
🔸Bruno is on Medical Alert for:
-Bilateral entropion of interior eyelids laterally (fixable with surgery); Recurrent secondary conjunctivitis
-Carpal hyperextension bilaterally (congenital)- malformation of ligaments in front legs
Bruno’s shelter history began on 8/16/24 when he & other dogs were seized as part of a suspected cruelty/neglect case. They were found in a SUV with front windows half rolled up; the temperature inside was 107.6 degrees. The interior was covered in feces and there was no food or water. 😥
Since his intake, poor Bruno’s been living in a small kennel out of public view & only gets out a few times a week. He’d have every right to get angry, but instead, he’s just grateful for any outing & has the biggest smile when he’s the center of attention, chasing balls or getting belly rubs! He’s treat-motivated & eager to please, so we he’ll be awesome to train. Bruno’s also been nonreactive passing kennels and very friendly when meeting other big dogs off-leash. 🐕
🆘 BRUNO MUST BE RESCUED OR ADOPTED BY 4PM ON THURS 11/7!
He has rescue interest but needs a committed long-term foster. If you’re interested in helping Bruno, please DM us!
Please share, tag & pledge and help us save Bruno before it’s too late. 🙏
