From the Brink of Euthanasia to a New Lease on Life
Tupac’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. Rescued from a county shelter’s euthanasia list, this shy Rottweiler was spared from an untimely fate simply because he was scared and limping on his back leg. After an evaluation by a veterinarian and specialist, it was determined that Tupac had only pulled a muscle—a minor injury that is already showing signs of improvement.

A Shy Boy Who Thrives with Friends
Tupac’s personality is as unique as his name. When he’s around other dogs, he’s confident and outgoing. Without them, however, he becomes a reserved and cautious boy, hesitant to approach new people. For this reason, his adopters must already have another dog or be willing to adopt two dogs from the rescue. Having a canine companion is essential for Tupac to feel secure and flourish in his new home.

Once he warms up, Tupac becomes affectionate and loyal, revealing his sweet and gentle nature. Though smaller in size for a purebred Rottweiler, he’s no less handsome and likely the runt of his litter.

What Tupac Needs in a Forever Home
Tupac is crate-trained, leash-trained, and knows some basic obedience commands. While he is well-behaved and has no aggressive tendencies, ongoing training is always encouraged to help him reach his full potential.

His ideal home will be one where he can lean on another dog for companionship and confidence. He’s happiest with friends—just like anyone else.

Adoption Process and Fees
If Tupac feels like the perfect addition to your family, the adoption process starts with a questionnaire on the rescue’s website, www.rottenrottie.com. The questionnaire helps ensure that Tupac—or another Rottweiler—is the right match for your family and lifestyle.

Adopters must undergo a home check and sign an adoption contract. The rehoming fee for most adult Rottweilers is $500, while fees for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes are $350. Puppies’ fees may vary based on their care needs and lineage.

Every dog adopted through the rescue is sterilized, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and provided with a collar and leash. Any prior medical issues are addressed and disclosed to potential adopters.

While most adoptions are limited to local families, exceptions may be made for Las Vegas residents in cases where a perfect match is identified.

A Second Chance for Tupac
Tupac’s story is one of resilience and hope. Now, he’s ready to find a loving home where he can thrive, alongside a friend who brings out the best in him. Are you ready to welcome Tupac into your life and give him the second chance he deserves?
