Bongo’s story starts like so many others—found as a stray and brought into the shelter on March 4, 2026, with no one coming to claim him. But instead of letting that define him, this 6-year-old Border Collie has turned every day into a celebration, greeting everyone he meets with excitement, joy, and a wagging tail that’s hard to resist.
Now safe and waiting at the shelter, Bongo is ready for his next chapter—and he’s hoping it includes a home where he can finally share all that energy and affection he’s been saving up.
