When Akari arrived as a stray on January 10, 2026, no one knew just how special her voice—and her heart—would be. This petite Husky has earned the nickname “Singing Akari” thanks to her soulful kennel serenades, a charming quirk that makes her impossible to forget. Once she’s out of her kennel, though, Akari trades her vocals for calm companionship, revealing a gentle, sweet dog who’s ready for a fresh start.

Estimated to be around 5 years old, Akari is a smaller Husky—likely closer to 40 pounds—with a stunning gray-and-white coat and sparkling blue, almond-shaped eyes. She may be a little head-shy at first, but give her a moment and her affectionate, playful personality shines through.
