What kind of home would be best for me? Theo is looking to simple be a part of your life. He would not mind having a furry friend in the home, but it is not necessary as Theo wants you. He wants your time. Theo is a cool guy, and he acts like it. He just wants to exist beside you and follow you around. He likes to play occasionally, so he would love walks to the dog park or doggy day care, but he would not need extended time with other dogs. Theo wants a human and that is final.
What is my personality like? Theo is a resilient and bright boy. He is confident once he gets used to a new environment and makes a great leader. Theo is a particularly mellow guy. He is not overly playful like a puppy, but he also is not a couch potato. Theo would love walks but also time to chill at home or at the cafe. Given his calm and collected demeanor we think Theo would do well with child over the age of 10. Theo listens well and is great in a crate, he goes in without hesitation and is patient when it is time to go outside. Theo is just a chill guy and wants a chill life.
How do I act when I first meet new people? Theo may need some time to warm up to new friends but give him a treat or a bowl of food and Theo is your new best friend. He warms up fast in an environment that will allow him space to grow. Theo adapts to changes quickly and loves hard once he understands the routine of a new life. Once Theo knows you, he will walk up to you frequently for pets and follow you around like your second shadow.
