Max did not expect his life to change so suddenly. On December 18, 2025, this eight-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix was turned in by his owner, landing in a loud, unfamiliar shelter that feels worlds away from the quiet home he once knew. For a dog like Max, the adjustment has been hard.
At first, he is shy and visibly overwhelmed by the noise and activity around him. But give him a minute. Sit with him. Let him take you in.
