Storm, affectionately called Stormy, quite literally walked into someone’s life when she needed help the most. Months ago, she appeared in a driveway weighing just 36 pounds, emaciated, wearing only a collar and a rabies tag.

Despite everything she had been through, she chose to trust.

Today, Stormy is safe, gaining healthy weight, and finally getting the chance to become the dog she was always meant to be.

Her Personality

Stormy is a dog who missed out on early socialization, so she’s still learning how the world works, especially when it comes to other animals. She’s not aggressive at all—she simply assumes everyone wants to play as much as she does.

Because of her size and enthusiasm, she sometimes needs guidance and boundaries, especially around smaller pets. But underneath that is a sweet, well-meaning dog who just needs someone to show her the ropes.

She’s affectionate, full of energy, and incredibly deserving of patience and understanding.

She may eventually live with other pets successfully, but it will take time, training, and thoughtful introductions.
