Steven Tyler is a 2-year-old, 60-pound shepherd mix who came into Aransas County Animal Control in Rockport, TX as a stray. With nothing known about his past, he’s spent time in a high-risk kill facility and is approaching his six-month time limit on March 16. He urgently needs a patient, experienced adopter to give him the chance he deserves.
This handsome boy is confident, strong, and knows his own mind. Volunteers who have walked him report that he can be temperamental, particularly when returning to his kennel or during leash removal. He does not like his head being touched, but outside of his kennel he thrives—calm, alert, and full of potential.
