Meet Squid, a 6-month-old pit mix puppy with a squishy face and a heart full of wiggles, zoomies, and cuddles. Currently thriving in foster care with two adult female dogs, Squid is all about fun, play, and learning. He plays hard with his younger dog friend (think vertical zoomies and joyful wrestling!) and even tries to charm the senior dog into joining his antics.
Squid is medium-high energy and forward in play but responsive and eager to learn. He’s doing great with redirection and benefits from structure, vocal cues, and consistency. He’s already mastered “sit,” loves his snacks, and is showing great promise in leash training and socialization. Squid’s personality is goofy, sweet, and just a little shy—especially around strangers and unfamiliar stimuli like carts or strollers. With the help of positive reinforcement training (LAT/BAT), he’s learning to build confidence every day.
