Spotty is a lovable and playful pup who truly lives life to the fullest! With his medium energy level, he’s just as happy romping around the yard as he is curling up in a sunny window spot for a nap.
This sweet and submissive boy is currently thriving in a multi-dog foster home, where he enjoys playing tug-of-war with his foster brother and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and ages. He generally ignores cats and is gentle and patient when meeting children, making him a great match for families with respectful, dog-savvy kids.
Spotty is food motivated and eager to please, which makes him a fast learner! He’s fully crate trained—sleeping soundly through the night—and does well when crated for short periods during the day. He’s mostly house trained and does best on a consistent schedule. So far, he’s mastered “touch” and is working on learning to “sit” on command.
He’s also progressing well on leash training and, although he has a bit of a zig-zag walk right now, he’s improving each day with gentle guidance.
