1-Year-Old Cane Corso | ~36–75 lbs | Located at Animal Friends of the Valleys, Wildomar, CA
Zamora is a young Cane Corso with a tender heart and soulful brown eyes—yet she arrived at the shelter misunderstood. Found as a stray on 5/19/2025, this 1-year-old girl came with notes labeling her as “aggressive,” but the staff and volunteers at Animal Friends of the Valleys quickly learned the truth: Zamora is anything but.
🐾 Why Zamora Will Steal Your Heart
• Gentle, submissive, and affectionate with humans and dogs
• Shy at first, but blossoms with love and kindness
• Easy to leash-walk and appears housebroken
• Eager to please and likely easy to train
• Staff and volunteers adore her sweet, quiet nature
Zamora has a mild case of cherry eye in her left eye, a condition that’s easily corrected—and nothing compared to the love she has to give. Despite the painful labels of her past, this smaller-sized Cane Corso is proving to be a gentle, loving companion who just needed a chance.
🏡 Ideal Home
Zamora would thrive in a calm, loving environment where she can continue to grow in confidence. She’s well-mannered, loves to please, and will make a devoted, loyal friend to someone willing to see the truth behind her past.
