Hi friends!! Seven here! I am 80% meatball and 20% precious angel, and I’m looking for a home. I was rescued by my friends at the PSPCA a loooong time ago from a not-so-good place, and I’ve been waiting for my day in the sun ever since! I am now released from my court case, and ready to start my new life. During my wait, I made some lifelong frems here at the shelter, but oh boy am I ready for my forever home.
My friends say I have the best smile in the land and the cutest little tippy-tap footsies. IDK what that means, but what I do know is I LOVE everyone I meet. I have so much love to give that I’m doing something a little risky… asking for a home without any other pets. I know, I know, it makes things a little tricky, but TRUST ME when I say I am well worth it. I promise I will fill up your whole heart with love every day for the rest of my adorable life! Take a chance on love, friends, and come meet me! If you don’t believe me, just ask my pals at!

Seven is a young adult Pittie rescued from the property of a convicted dog fighter. When our humane officers received a call from local police regarding a case involving dog-fighting activity, they arrived on scene to find Seven, and his five “siblings” living on short chains, on the property of a convicted dog fighter, with dog-fighting paraphernalia on scene. The dogs were released from their tethers, loaded into the safety of PSPCA vehicles, and transported to the shelter, where they waited for their day of true freedom – the day they would be released from protective custody. That day came 13 months later.

During his long wait, Seven won the hearts of every single staff member and volunteer he interacted with. His snuggly, happy, wiggly little body, and his wide smile warmed every single soul he touched. He showed us that he loves nothing more than playing with toys, and snuggling up on a soft blankie with his best human friend. He’s a good boy on walkies and there isn’t really anything that doesn’t make this boy happy as a little clam. Here’s the kicker. Seven needs a home without other animals. Due to his history, he was robbed of the ability to interact safely with other dogs. Our dedicated staff has trained him to wear a muzzle when he goes out on walks so that he can be a safe member of the community should he ever encounter an off-leash dog while out and about. Seven is a victim of the cruel and deplorable world of illegal dog fighting, and we are dedicated to ensuring he gets the second chance at the life he deserves.
