We can’t believe it, but Serena has been at the shelter since December 28, 2021 without a home. This sweet girl is an eight-year-old, 55-pound Shar Pei mix. Serena has the monicker “Land Hippo” at Home Fur Good because of her rounded proportions and squishy face.
Also, because she enjoys lolling around in our kiddie pools during the summer, looking very hippo-like. Serena has a happy-go-lucky personality and she’s always glad to see you. Her favorite activity is just to be with you, especially if you give her a massage.
She loves people! She’s not a big fan of other doggos, however. Serena would appreciate being a solo canine companion. Serena has some allergy challenges and is on a successful treatment regimen for them. Home Fur Good can provide all the details for maintaining her silky coat.
