Meet Sarge
Sarge is an 8-year-old purebred Doberman with energy that defies his age. This food-loving companion is highly motivated by treats and has been professionally trained using an e-collar. He knows several commands, including heel, come, sit, down, and place, and is crate-trained—preferring to sleep in the comfort of his crate.
Sarge thrives on activity and loves car rides and patrolling the yard to chase away deer and squirrels. A fenced yard is essential to keep this high-energy pup safe and happy.
What Sarge Needs
Sarge’s ideal home is with an experienced large-breed owner who can confidently take on the role of “alpha.” While Sarge is good with kids, his size and exuberance make him better suited for families with older children.
Although he’s not compatible with cats or small dogs, Sarge can potentially get along with larger dogs after proper introductions. He’ll need plenty of attention and exercise to keep him physically and mentally stimulated.
