Since arriving as a stray on 1/28/2026 with a microchip—but heartbreakingly no one came for her—this 5-year-old German Shepherd has been waiting for a second chance. At first she was a little shy and unsure, but now she eagerly waits for her turn to head out for a walk and “Sniffari.” The shelter is just temporary lodging in her eyes—she’s ready to go HOME.

Already spayed and adoption-ready, Sammy seems like a girl who once knew family life and is truly missing it.
