Meet Ross, a 4-year, 5-month-old Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix who was recently surrendered to Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA on 11/18/2025. Now neutered and weighing around 50 lbs, this handsome boy sports a striking tan coat, a dark muzzle, and bright brown eyes that practically glow when he’s happy — especially outside!

Ross is pure joy on a leash. On walks, he lives his best life — nose to the ground, tail wagging, trotting from scent to scent like he’s reading the morning newspaper. He loves adventure just as much as he loves cuddles, making him the perfect balance of playful and affectionate. He knows sit & shake, appears housebroken, and is overall friendly, sweet, and well behaved. If you love hiking, outdoor fun, or daily sniffari missions, Ross is your guy.
