Meet River! He is a Shepherd mix who was turned in by his owner on 1/28/2025 and is just a baby at 8 months old. He is not yet neutered and is listed as 2-35 lbs but it’s likely he’s at least at the top of that range. He has a sleek black coat with a little white here and there and bright brown eyes. The Dog Walkers are finding him to be very sweet and friendly. He has great puppy energy but is also very well behaved!
He walks well with a leash but he is very strong and does pull quite a bit. He is very smart and knows the sit command! He is very curious and sniffs everything on the path! He loves to be petted and given attention and is very affectionate in return! He is probably wondering where he is and why and would love to land in his new and TRUE Forever Home.
