Recently, we put out an urgent plea for fosters as many of our partner shelters reached critical capacity. Among those in desperate need were Momma Mimosa and her two brunch babies, Blueberry Muffin and Cheese Danish. Their story broke our hearts:
💔 Five dogs were found in dire conditions—emaciated adults and puppies so bloated with worms they waddled instead of walked.
❤️ Another rescue pulled one adult, but we took in Momma and her babies. A few days later, we returned for the last emaciated adult because… No Swampie Left Behind!

✨ Sweet, gentle, and a little timid, Mimosa is blossoming with daily cuddles and baby talk.
✨ She eats like she doesn’t know when her next meal is coming—but we’ve promised her she’ll never worry about that again.
