For most of his life, Kylo never knew a soft bed, a gentle touch, or even what it meant to be a pet. Instead, this Pomeranian-Husky mix spent his days in an Amish puppy mill, likely confined to a small cage, used for breeding, and denied the love every dog deserves. But now, at 2 years old and 16 pounds, Kylo’s life has changed forever.
Since his rescue, Kylo has been slowly adjusting to his new world. Understandably, he’s a bit nervous and hesitant at first, but with patience, encouragement, and plenty of positive experiences, he’s learning to trust. His foster family has already seen his sweet personality start to shine.
Kylo does great with dogs his size and prefers the company of older children who will respect his space. He’s already proving to be incredibly smart—he’s housebroken, knows how to sit, and is working on stay and down. He also doesn’t need to be crated when left alone and rides well in the car!
