Ralph was dropped off at the Animal Valley Animal Shelter in May. The shelter believes he was abused and/or severely neglected. Apple valley has an 80% kill rate and he was quickly put on the euthanasia list. We saw a post of him and decided to foster him so he would not be killed. We believe he is a cattle dog/husky/pit mix and approximately 1 year and 7 months old.
He is extremely loyal and wants to be with his owners as much as possible. He will be your shadow. He has been trained to sit, stay, lay down, paw and kiss. He does need obedience training. He loves being around other dogs. Ralph is a high energy dog and would require an owner that is familiar with such. He would thrive in the countryside, a house with a yard, or we believe he would be a great agility dog. He requires a slow introduction to new people. He does not like to be approached, but likes to approach. With training and patience, I believe this could be changed. We love him but cannot continue to foster with our current jobs.
