Lance is an intact male estimated to be around 2 years old and is a German Shepherd mix! He was a stray picked up on 03/22/2025. Lance has a huge head – it’s so BIG in proportion to his body and he has white accents on his chest and belly – he’s just such a handsome boy! Lance jumps in his kennel because he’s so excited to go for a walk, but he is actually a little shy once you get to him. However, he warms up quickly once he sees you’re gentle and his demeanor is calm and chill overall.
Lance is easy to redirect, housebroken, and already knows sit – it’s easy to see a very well-trained dog in the future! Our walkers have described him as well behaved and easy to walk. Lance does not pull in their experiences with him, even though he clearly adores sniffing around and exploring the outside! When Lance sees other dogs on walks, he shows interest in them, but does not pull or bark. We also have not seen Lance bark in his kennel despite other dogs barking around him!
He does make some slight, plaintive whines through his kennel when he sees people leave his section, though – he wants to find his forever home! Come hurry to meet Lance so you can fall in love with him!
