Found unwanted in a high-kill shelter in West Texas while pregnant, this young terrier mix gave birth under incredibly difficult circumstances. Tragically, only two of her puppies survived, and even they had to be separated so they could receive the care they needed.

Through it all, Magnolia Mae kept going.

Now safe in rescue and beginning her journey toward healing, this 1-year-old sweetheart is ready for something she’s never truly had before: a calm, loving home where she can rest, recover, and finally be cared for.

Magnolia Mae is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, which will continue once she arrives in Minneapolis. During this time, she’ll need a quieter home where she can rest and recover comfortably.
