Peeper Bo is a 10-month-old pitty boy that was born without eyes. He and a sibling were saved from a kill shelter in Texas and brought to Unleashed Pet Rescue in Mission, KS. The sibling was also visually impaired, and they both were covered in ringworm worms.
Peeper started having complications with his hind leg, his foster mom rushed him to an emergency hospital where he was discovered to have some sort of infection in his joint. After spending a week there he was finally able to go back home on daily medicines, he was on these medications for almost 2 months and then was cleared and healthy.
He has made a full recovery and living his best life and learning new things all the time. One of his best friends is his foster cat sister, they do the chase and hide game, all though she has the upper hand.
Unfortunately as he has grown into his own personality he does need to be in an only dog home, due to his special needs. He is super smart and catches on very quickly to new things and is kennel trained. Of course there will be some training with the new environment but he will no doubt adjust.
He is currently still looking for his furever home. His foster mom has had him for 7 months and loves him dearly but would love for him to find the perfect home to grow up in. Applications can be submitted at unleashedrescue.com
