Oscar is an 18 pound, 10+ year old white poodle mix. Oscar the cute senior poodle has already captured our hearts! Oscar doesn’t walk so well and sleeps a lot, but he melts into your arms or lap and is happy just laying in his bed or on the couch with someone. Some days he wants to walk more than others and likes being outside.
For a good walk, Oscar likes to go in his doggie stroller for a stroll. He loves these walks, just sitting up or laying in the stroller going along for the ride. He is an absolute love! Oscar is house trained and can be left alone at home. While he is missing much of his vision, that does not bother him at all. He is quick to figure out new spaces and is happy to share his home with another friendly dog or other pet.
While he still needs a dental and eye surgery, he is quickly settling into his foster home and has a great routine with his two foster mommies and tolerates his eye and arthritis medicine well. This lovely dog will be perfect for a senior adult or family willing to give him the love and care he needs. Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
