What kind of home would be best for me? Nova is a happy, young, active dog looking to be your adventure buddy. While Nova enjoys the company of other dogs, she prefers to be the only pet in the household to soak up all the love and attention. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes. She has not been tested with cats. Nova’s only ask is a home with no children. She’s tried that and it didn’t work for her. We know there are some empty nesters or homes without children that would love a best buddy!
What is my personality like? Come say hello to Nova, your future cuddle buddy! Nova is looking for a special home where she can thrive and be the center of attention She came to CPR after struggling to adjust to her previous family’s new baby, which led to some indoor accidents and allergic reactions to them for the family. Despite this, her former owner describes Nova as “a wonderful dog who is sweet and incredibly cuddly.”
Nova thinks so too. If she could, she would tell you, “I like to be the center of attention. So, I guess that’s a bad thing!” One of my favorite things to do is go on walks. Oh, and I LOVE car rides! My previous owner had a boat and took me on it. That was a blast! It’s ok if you don’t have a boat. Please just spend time playing with me, walking me, taking me to meetups with other doodles and poodles and that will be my dream life come true!”
Nova is already a pro on the leash is ready for daily adventures. She knows her basic commands, listens attentively and is eager to please, and is very clean in her crate overnight. If you are looking for a loving companion who thrives on attention and enjoys daily walks and playtime, Nova is the perfect match for you.
How do I act when I first meet new people? Nova has not met a stranger. She loves everyone she’s met and expects them to love her back.
Other tips and tidbits: Nova’s birthday is 1/26/2020
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn’t keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
