Milkshake was being given away to homeless people because her owner could not afford the Pet deposit. Being elderly and blind one of our volunteers intervened and asked us to take her into our rescue. Milkshake is a senior girl approximately 10 years old she had severe cataracts that were never treated leaving her blind. She is also deaf, but we are not sure if she was always deaf or if it’s age related.
She is a very affectionate girl who loves attention and would gladly sit on your lap all day. She navigates very well on the leash and will happily Roomba around a small yard when the weather is nice. Milkshake deserves a loving family to spend the remainder of her senior years with.
