Midge #246434 is a gorgeous 1–2-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs about 70 pounds and has already been spayed and microchipped. Found wandering alone as a stray — likely abandoned — she arrived at Apple Valley Animal Services scared, confused, and still hopeful that someone kind would come for her. Despite what she’s been through, Midge remains incredibly loving. Volunteers say she leans in for affection, lights up for attention, and has quickly become a shelter favorite. She was even named “Pet of the Week.”
But Midge is out of time. Apple Valley Animal Services is a very high-intake, high-kill shelter, and Midge is now extremely urgent — she can be euthanized any time after 11/26 unless a rescue or adopter steps forward.
Why Midge Deserves Her Second Chance ❤️🐾
