Johnny’s Story

Johnny and his housemate June (now adopted) were found abandoned in a trailer in Vermont, left without heat, food, or water in deplorable conditions. Despite his rough past, Johnny has proven to be an incredibly resilient and social pup, ready to start his new life in a loving home!

🐶 Social & Friendly: Johnny loves people and gets along well with other dogs.
🏡 House-Trained: Seems to be housebroken.
🐾 Kid-Friendly: Would do well in a family setting.
🐱 Cat Compatibility: Unknown, but he has a playful nature.
🐿 Squirrel Chaser: Like most dogs, he enjoys a good chase!
🐕 Crate-Trained: Can stay in a crate during the day but prefers sleeping in a bed at night.
🍽 Food Routine: Needs a separate eating space and uses a slow feeder bowl if other pets are around.
🚗 Loves Car Rides & Walks: Enjoys adventures and knows commands like “sit,” “bedtime,” and responds to his name.
