A lively, curly-coated pup full of enthusiasm, Derby is ready to find his forever home. Rescued as a stray in Guilford County, this 6-month-old (born June 7, 2024) is a doodle-type dog with a zest for life. While his exact breed mix is unknown, his playful personality and bouncy energy are unmistakable.
Currently weighing 20 pounds and standing 16 inches tall, Derby is expected to grow to around 35-45 pounds and up to 22 inches tall. If you’re looking for a companion who’s always ready to hit the trails or romp in the yard, Derby is your guy!

Derby needs an adopter who can match his energy and enthusiasm. He thrives in homes with:
- Plenty of space to run and play — a fenced yard is a must!

Note: Derby is not yet neutered. His adoption includes a spay/neuter addendum requiring the procedure within 9 months.
