At Rescue Ranch, our puppies are raised with care, love, and early socialization through our Puppy Foster Program. Here’s everything you need to know about adopting one of these adorable pups:
Socialized and Well-Adjusted
- Interaction with people and pets: Puppies are exposed to adults, children, other dogs, and sometimes cats.
- Education programs: Puppies aged 16 weeks or older participate in the Reading to Rescue Pups program and attend multiple events to boost their social skills.
Health and Wellness
- Veterinary care: Puppies receive a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian when they’re at least 8 weeks old.
- Vaccinations: All age-appropriate vaccinations are administered, including:
- Parvo/Distemper
- Bordetella
- Rabies (for puppies 4 months or older)
- Deworming: Every puppy is dewormed before adoption.
- Microchipping: All puppies are microchipped and registered with 911PetChip for their safety.
Spay/Neuter Policy
- Puppies must be spayed/neutered between 6–8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds).
- Options for the procedure:
- Done by our veterinarian (covered by the adoption fee).
- Done by your own vet (with proof), and part of the cost will be refunded.
